Ascend had hired two marketing superstars whose experience did not yet include accounts payable automation software. Nevertheless, Ascend needed a steady supply of educational and informative content that demonstrated thought-leader status to prospective customers.
Even once up to speed; however, a small team can only do so much. Ascend’s marketing team needed to fuel their content engine, but didn’t have the time to train an outside agency or freelancer on the ins and outs of their niche industry.
Our collaboration
With a decade of experience in the AP automation space, we were able to deliver monthly content packages–e-books, blog posts, animated social content and short videos–with zero training required.
And, once up to speed, Ascend’s small marketing team worked with QPM on an ongoing basis to collaborate on SEO and content strategy and multiply their marketing efforts, most notably with targeted digital campaigns to boost lead generation.
Outcomes
A digital lead-gen campaign ahead of Ascend’s most important annual event generated 40% more booked demos than the last year the in-person event was held–despite a 50% decrease in event attendees (check out the case study)
